Schools' Menu Selector

Welcome to the Autumn/Winter 2008/09 Schools Menu Selector, which allows you to see what is on offer in Clackmannanshire's Primary School dining halls.

Thanks to Class Cuisine, our centralised state-of-the-art cook/freeze unit in Sauchie, delicious and nutritionally balanced meals are being served up in our schools daily.

Schools Menu Selector coverAll changes included in this menu have been made in response to extensive consultation with our schools and listening to our pupils' views about school lunches.

Lunch Options

For the Autumn/Winter menus, the Packed Lunch choice will not be available. A three course lunch is still on offer and is analysed weekly to ensure meals have a healthy balance of nutrients and are low in fat and salt.

A selection of fresh bread, mixed salad, water and semi-skimmed milks are available every day and is included with all meals for just £1.60.

Menu Selector

By using the information in this booklet, you can see exactly what is on the menu when your child goes back to school after the October break on Monday, 20th October. A Menu Selector is available for you to view or download.

The menu changes every day and runs in a four-week cycle. A little symbol will indicate the weeks when there is a "special day" and menus for these will be produced nearer the time.

Vegetarian / Special Diets

There will always be a vegetarian option available and parents/carers of children who require special diets should contact their Head Teacher.
