Early Years and Out of School Care Services
This service provides pre and pre-pre-school education. It supports families, early years and childcare providers, employers and others in obtaining up to date information and guidance on the full range of childcare services available.

Clackmannanshire Pre-School and Childcare Information Service
The Clackmannanshire Books for Babies project was launched in 1999 as a Sainsbury's Bookstart Initiative. It focuses on the raising of attainment levels in reading in children starting school.
Childcare Tax Credit
Help is now available for working parents who pay for registered childcare. It is called the childcare tax credit and is part of the Working Families Tax Credit. It is run by the Inland Revenue and replaced Family Credit.
You could be eligible if you:
- Have at least one child in registered childcare
- Are working 16 hours a week or more (both partners if you are a couple)
- Have gross family earning of less than £27,000 (with one child in childcare) or less than £34,000 (with two or more children in childcare) - correct as of February 2005
