Home Energy Check
You can take an online home energy check based on the type of home you live in and the type of heating system that you have.
Most energy companies offer this service on their websites or you can go to the Energy Saving Trust's page on Home Improvements.
Alternatively, contact your local Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centre on freephone 0800 512 012, they will be able to give advice and check if you are eligible for any grants to improve the energy efficiency of your home.
For a more personal touch, with a visit to your home by a specially trained volunteer energy adviser contact

CSV's Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP), now in its 20th year in Scotland, is addressing the issues surrounding current fuel increases with a team of volunteer 'Energy Advisers', who work in the community offering a 'FREE' home energy advice service.
These Energy Advisers will offer home energy checks and advice sessions with the aim to help you reduce your fuel bills and where possible identify a grant or benefit you may be entitled to.
The Energy Advisers also visit community centres, organizations, small groups, or link up to existing events to offer talks and information of saving energy.
