Sustainability and climate change: interested? confused? worried?
Come along to this free event and find out more about what the Council is doing about these issues, and have your say on the draft Clackmannanshire Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy. From flooding and climate change to transport and protecting wildlife, the strategy covers a huge range of issues that affect everyone.
Drop in any time between 11am and 5pm to receive a free energy saving light bulb, and pick up tips such as how to reduce your fuel bills and how to use up leftover food. Council staff will be joined by representatives of a number of environmental organisations who are all working to make Clackmannanshire a more sustainable place.
Those attending the event will be asked to fill in a pledge card promising to make a small lifestyle change. the cards will then be used in a prize draw, with the chance to win one of five energy efficient kettles.
