Junior Library

As a member of the library you can borrow 12 books and keep them for 4 weeks. To become a member, ask to join at your local library.

Clackmannanshire libraries have brightly coloured junior and teenage sections where you are welcome to sit and browse a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books. There is also a good selection of books and tape packs.

Babies have a special section devoted to them, with a good variety of 'pop-up' and 'touchy-feely' books.

The junior reference section has many encyclopaedias and other information books, which are useful for school project work.

Competitions

  • Junior competitions are held twice a year, in the Autumn and Easter time. There is a valuable prize for the winner but everyone who enters gets a free gift. A Christmas competition runs for 2 weeks at the end of November.

Junior Events

  • During Easter and Summer school holidays there is a programme of events for children, including magic shows, puppet shows, and arts and crafts sessions.
