Clackmannanshire Council, in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, manage the Business Gateway service in Clackmannanshire. The Business Gateway is your single access point to all mainstream business development information and support available in our area. Business Liaison Initiative
The Business Liaison Initiative (BLI) is a joint project managed by the Council and the Business Community of Clackmannanshire.
Principal Aims
The principal aims of the BLI are to
- Restore and strengthen business networks in Clackmannanshire;
- Provide a platform from which a new Chamber of Commerce can be launched.
Key Objectives
The key objectives are to
- Help local companies and self employed individuals become more efficient in developing their enterprises;
- Improve working relationships between the public and private sectors;
- Ensure integration of the business community into the community planning process;
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and examples of best practice from small dynamic groups comprising members of the business community and public sector to the wider business community.
If you are interested in participating in the BLI and have a subject you think would be worth discussing through a BLI working group please let us know. Or, you may have an interest in a particular aspect of business development and feel that an event/seminar could be held to promote this, again - please let us know.
